While, at first, Battlecruisers might seem to Cruisers what Destroyers are to Frigates you will quickly find yourself disabused of that notion. Battlecruisers are a staple of PvP due to their versatility, relatively cheap cost and the reasonable skills required to fit and fly one. However, they scale quite well for characters with good skills. The Hurricane and Drake are PvP favourites.

Tech 2 Battlecruisers. Provides leadership bonuses to the entire fleet with warfare links. Can tank far more than their T1 counterparts.
