Worried that their hot-shot pilots would burn brightly in their eagerness to engage the enemy, the Federation Navy created a ship that encourages caution over foolhardiness. A hardier version of its counterpart, the Myrmidon is a ship designed to persist in battle. Its numerous medium and high slots allow it to slowly bulldoze its way through the opposition, while its massive drone space ensures that no enemy is left unscathed.
The Myrmidon is one of the most survivable and cheap T1 hulls in the game. Able to tank an astonishing amount of incoming damage and win drawn out fights when other hulls would gas out long before the Myrmidon. The hull shows its age due to the low mobility. But in a long protracted fight where you can get tackle it will still shine. Below is an example of one of, if not the most, famous fits in EVE.
The Myrmidon is the next in the drone boat line of Gallente ships. It sits between the Vexor and Dominix. Its bonuses allow for a very strong armor tank, but a shield tank is not only possible but also effective given the right fittings. Prior to the introduction of drone bandwidth the Myrmidon could field 5 Heavy Drones, but now it can only field 4. Much like the other ships in the droneboat line, very good drone skills are a must for the Myrmidon
Because of the drones, the Myrm is a brilliant ship to use in PVE, because you can fight frigates to battlecruisers with ease from 40+km away. Recommended for mission levels 2-3. Not often recommended in PVP, but with a shield tank it can almost be compared with the drake in terms of stats, so it makes a nice surprise bait ship. Because the Myrm's ship hull doesn't give bonuses to hybrid weapons, many players use autocannons/artillery cannons on the Myrm for better cap stability. Note: To get the maximum theoretical dps out of the 100 mbps drone bandwidth, use a group of 3 heavy and 2 medium drones. Depending on the situation however, 5 medium drones might be preferable because of the slow travel time of heavy drones.

The Oxford Sneaker is a ratting fit first described by Diplo/DoYouEvenLiftBro/Bulge-in-Chief Dran Arcana. He made a really long, cool post about how to use it but the last time I went to the effort of making a theorypost into readable wiki content the meta changed and I don't feel like doing that again so yeah read about it here if you must.
The tl;tl;dr;dir is this:

Time to channel your inner Steve Santini and think about the following
