Heavy Assault Cruisers (HACs) are T2 cruisers which typically use the hulls of their corresponding T1 damage-dealing cruisers (omen, caracal, thorax, rupture). These ships have beefier tank and more DPS, and serve as an improved damage dealing platform over their T1 counterparts, but still in a cruiser-sized nugget.
