This is Day 1 required reading for all new members in Dreddit. It will help acclimate you to our culture, expectations, and services we offer. If you have any questions feel free to ask in Corp discord and we'll help you find an answer.

We, meaning Baldur Kilgannon and the rest of Dreddit Command, aren't here to regulate your thoughts or tell you how to live your life. We will however enforce community standards. You should also refer to the the TEST Alliance Bylaws and the Code of Conduct for Dreddit as well.

Dreddit was built on the foundation of Redditors playing EVE together. It's evolved beyond that and our culture is influenced by many communities across the internet, from Twitch to Reddit to Twitter and beyond. Being such a diverse place to play EVE is important but it comes with a few caveats and guidelines.

• That's the easiest one. The stakes are low and resorting to maliciously aggressive name calling, use of bigoted language, and threats of violence are not allowed. Just because you don't see someone kicked does not mean they weren't talked to about it and as such you shouldn't read into a person's continued existence in the corp communication channels because I'm not a dictator.
• This also means we don't discuss politics or NSFW topics in our general chat. I'm not going to take the time to define politics because that just invites endless rules lawyering. We're pretty self-regulating in that regard. Take it to the politics channel in every case.

• That's pretty self-explanatory. You can be right or wrong about anything but you won't be a dick about it in any case.

First off, make sure you've set up all your alliance services, i.e. Auth, Alliance Discord, and Mumble. This is not optional, it is required for continued membership in Dreddit.

Sending a corp-wide mail in the EVE Client is subject to a 500mil ISK fine. I, Baldur Kilgannon, am the decider of what comprises a valid corp-mail and sending one without authorization not only annoys everyone in the corporation but specifically annoys me. Do not send them. No exceptions.

For now Corp Mailing is restricted to Directors and CEOs. All relevant communication is done through Discord.

For now corp pings are limited to social pings only. You can send a social ping through the Auth Broadcast Tool and select Dreddit - Social but keep in mind that abuse will lead to revoked access to service and explution from the corporation.
