The Nyx is a gigantic homage to a figure much loved in Gallente society. The ship's design is based on the scepter of Doule dos Rouvenor III, the king who, during his peaceful 36-year reign, was credited with laying the foundation for the technologically and socially progressive ideologies which have pervaded Gallente thought in the millennia since. Indeed, the Nyx itself is emblematic of the Gallenteans' love for progress; packed to the ergonomic brim with the latest in cutting-edge advancements, it is a proud reminder of the things that make the Federation what it is.
The Nyx is hands down the king of the field in DPS. Once it lands on the field and deploys its Fighters/Fighter Bombers anything that gets in its path becomes scrap metal. While it does not have the largest tank possible it is a force to be reckoned with. However with that said, it is still advisable that you get an Wyvern instead. Survivability is key in large Capital fights. Super Carriers are capable of fielding Fighter and Fighter Bombers. With Gallente Carrier V it is able to launch up to 20 Fighter/Fighter Bombers at one time.

Which officer or faction modules you have doesn't matter that much. For smartbombs you want at least 8km range, preferably greater than 8.5km. Smartbombs pop dictor bubbles and enemy fighter bombers. For neuts it's also about range. A hictor with a T2 infinipoint and HIC V can point out to 36 kilometers. Only the very best officer neuts can hit that far. The neut in the fit above hits to 33.6 km and costs a little under a bil usually. For the seventh slot implant, other viable options would be 6% Evasive Maneuvering or 6% Signature Analysis.
