This is an old revision of the document!

Sovereignty and Moons

Since this tends to be the topic of debate once every 6 weeks or so, fuck it, its worth putting into words just so everyone can be on the same page for once.

Sov = Moon Rights

That being said, it needs clarification.

If XYZ Alliance holds a system, they have all rights to moons in that system. They can most certainly allow other alliances to use moons in said system, but they need to be consulted prior to a tower from an outside alliance being anchored. This will be done on your behalf by alliance diplomats; do not contact them yourself.

example: X holds the system. Y would like to put a staging/mining/midpoint tower there for whatever reason. Y needs to talk to X prior to anchoring their tower.

Moon Rules

* Dyspro, prom, thul, neo, cad, tech, and haf are nationalized for the alliance. Do not tower these for yourself or your corp, even in hostile space. Please report these to someone in alliance logistics if you find one of these without a tower. * All other r16 and r32 moons are seminationalized and allocated to member corps, but this is not a free-for-all and it is not first-come, first-served. You must get written permission to tower these from the head of logistics or his delegated moon manager. * All other moons may be towered by any PAC or member corp with the understanding that if the alliance needs it for any reason, the owner must be available to receive and execute any request to detower it. This includes moons in strategic locations, such as systems with very few moons, or moons that may serve as insta-undocks or staging towers.

Moon Disputes

The appropriate course of action to take if a you need a moon for a legitimate purpose (ie, not just squatting on the moon because you don’t like to see another Corp sitting there) is to approach the Diplomatic Team. The diplomat will initiate a discussion with the Alliance or Corp in question that currently holds it and a solution will be found.

Also, if you need a written list of what each moon-goo rarity level is, you shouldn’t be moon-mining.

*This has the TEST Alliance Logistics seal of approval.
