Test runs incursions, a high-end PVE activity that generates ISK and LP via Concord bounties to the participants. Without further ado:

If you're here you're probably wondering what ship(s) to bring and how to fit them.

Check all of these fits in EFT yourself before you buy them.

In an incursion, you get take large amounts of damage by rats and only get paid when the site is cleared. Therefore, it is important that you apply as much DPS as possible while being able to tank incoming damage. As such, we require T2 tanks and strongly recommend T2 weapons. In incursions, there is also a high amount of blingyness to it, so these fits have been boiled down to intro-level ships. At bare minimum, you should have 70% resists and at least 120k EHP for Red Bar fit.

Additionally, don't bring microwarp drives, especially in smaller ships because your sig blooms and you take more damage.

All ships should fit a plate when the bar is red. Battleships (and only battleships) can refit their plate or EANM to an extra damage module when the bar is mostly blue without having to worry about dying.

The following are our most commonly used fits.

Note: With the capital jump changes, battleships have fallen out of favor. T3/Cruiser hulls are typically preferred as they are easier to move than a battleship.

Machariel

If you have good gunnery and tank skills, don't mind shelling out a bit of ISK (but don't want to bling) and don't have the skills do fly a good cruiser, you should get a Machariel and everyone will love you for it, doing twice the DPS of a VNI. Bonus: It's as easy to move as a VNI with the higher warp speeds.

Pros/Cons

Pulse has better DPS in the ranges it operates in, but most Incursion rats will be dead by the time they get in those ranges or you will be constantly swapping ammo.

  • Always have a travel fit that includes a Covops Cloak, Covert Reconfiguration Subsystem, and a full rack of Warp Core Stabilizers.
  • Mag stabs can be upgraded to faction for maximum deeps if you so desire.
  • This fit works fine for both redbar and bluebar.
  • For HQ fleets replace one of the tracking computers with an Afterburner.

  • Faction Antimatter M is standard ammo.
  • Javelin M in case of bad webbers.
  • Spike for the Mara.

Vindicator

This pirate ship can assist with webbing and can be rather useful but carries a heavy pricetag. Bling fit is highly recommended. Roll your webs, applying one each to the primary and secondary (or whatever is within range)

Vigilant

Baby Vindicator, for those with less SP and/or ISK, or those who love cruisers. Stay moving, spread your webs as best you can, shoot the primary.

If you don't have skirmish boosts, you will probably have to burn around to get within webbing range.
