Often nicknamed The Fat Man, this nimble little frigate is mainly used by the Federation in escort duties or on short-range patrols. The Tristan has been very popular throughout Gallente space for years because of its versatility. It is rather expensive, but buyers will definitely get their money's worth, as the Tristan is one of the more powerful frigates available on the market.

The Tristan is a Gallente combat frigate with bonuses to drone hit-points and tracking speed, making it the earliest available droneboat in the Gallente line. It is the only Tier 1 frigate capable of having a full flight of light drones.

The Tristan is also extremely versatile in that it can be fit for kiting, brawling, or neuting. It is considered one of the best Tier 1 frigates to solo/small gang pvp in.
