Nidhoggur

Overview

Essentially a pared-down version of its big brother the Hel, the Nidhoggur nonetheless displays the same austerity of vision evident in its sibling. Quite purposefully created for nothing less than all-out warfare, and quite comfortable with that fact, the Nidhoggur will no doubt find itself a mainstay on many a battlefield.

The Nidhoggur is the Minmatar carrier. It has bonuses to both shield and armor transfers and is the only carrier with a bonus to the shield and armor transfer amount, making it the best carrier at pure logistics. Unfortunately this also means if there are multiple carriers on the field, the Nidhoggur will be the first one the enemy shoots at. With a 5/6 mid/low slot layout the Nidhoggur is normally armor tanked.

Though in earlier versions of the game the Nidhoggur was a terrible carrier, post-Trinity it is a well rounded carrier, having a substantial bonus to repair amount and the same slot load-out as a Thanatos. The repair amount bonus makes it the best carrier to Triage fit for pos and outpost repairing.

CAPITALBOIS

Want to join CAPITALBOIS?

Joining

So what does it take to join others with bigger toys? Basically just the proper skills. Yes we have skill requirements & we are literally Hitler about it. The capital requirements we have in place allow for a proper fleet structure and shows us that you might actually be able to use it; e.g., you can actually fit a capital transfer mod on a Carrier and can use a Siege Module on a Dread.

Please refer to https://skills.pleaseignore.com/ for your skill needs.

So, that is all well and good, but how do I actually join? Read below as I blatantly copy and paste the redone thread on how-to that Emperor Salazar made:

Do you meet Test skill requirements to join Test capital fleets? If you're not sure, go to https://skills.pleaseignore.com and check. If you have all yellows or greens for your desired capital ship (Carrier or Dread), then you are almost ready.

Also after you have submitted your application please get in touch with a capitals HR Drone via jabber. (caphr is the jabber channel to find nerds in).

IF YOU DO NOT JOIN “caphr” ON JABBER, YOUR APPLICATION WILL NOT BE PROCESSED. IT IS NOT OUR JOB TO HUNT YOU DOWN.

When you go to talk with caps HR have a screenshot showing that you own the capital that you have the skills to fly.

To apply to capitals, click here: https://auth.pleaseignore.com/groups/request/101/

THIS IS THE ONLY TEXT THAT SHOULD BE IN YOUR APPLICATION:

YOUR MAIN'S NAME, YOUR CAP PILOT'S NAME]
Ships able to fly: [SHIPS YOU CAN FLY]
Ships owned: [SHIPS ACTUALLY IN YOUR HANGAR]
Timezone: [THE TZ YOU ACTUALLY PLAY IN]

If there is any other text, you will be REJECTED

If there is any red when we go to check your skills, you will be REJECTED

If you fail to indicate what character is the capital pilot and what ship that character can fly, you will be REJECTED

If you do not have Jabber services set up, you will be REJECTED

If you do not joint the Jabber room “caphr” your application WILL NOT BE PROCESSED

If you have your Jabber services in order, apply properly, have full APIs in auth, talk with an HR Drone or my self, and meet the skill requirements you will be ACCEPTED

DO NOT BE AFRAID TO HARASS US IN THE CAP HR CHANNEL FOR US TO PROCESS YOUR APP

Good luck, and have fun. Welcome to the life of a TEST Capital pilot. Have your silver spray-paint ready.

Reimbursement

Historically, the alliance did well in the ways of reimbursement for capitals. TEST typically pays for, and supplies, our fuel and ammunition. Ships are only reimbursable if they are lost on an Op lead by an approved Capital FC. Carriers & Dreadnaughts are reimbursed to full hull price covering the difference on insurance. TEST also historically reimbursed Fighters & Fighter-bombers as well if ever lost. We do not have a Supercapital reimbursement program currently. But it is dealt with on a case-by-case basis if shit ever hits the fan, the alliance will discuss any options regarding what they can do to help out.(Citation needed)

Currently we have a 50% reimbursement program, this applies to approved capital ops only.
