T3 Builder Alt


Overview

T3 building is even more skill intensive than T2 Invention. It is essentially the combination of the Production Alt, Research Alt, and the Invention Alt as many of the skills in each plan are required at high levels to even start building T3 ships.

Even after completing this skill plan, you cannot just start building T3 ships. You need to decide if you want to build Tactical Destroyers or Strategic Cruisers (or both) and which races you want to build for.

For Tactical Destroyers (T3D) add:

  • Advanced Small Ship Construction V (7d)

For Strategic Cruisers (T3) add:

  • Advanced Medium Ship Construction V (19d)

And for each race, you need to additionally train:

  • <Racial> Starship Engineering (19d)

It is also HIHGLY recommended that you have an alt who can fly the ships you're building that also has good scanning skills as most of the materials for building Tech 3 ships come from wormhole space.
