Aceites
Aceites was a new member of Dreddit with just under a month of flight time under his belt.
The Legacy
During the siege of 6VDT-H on 2011-01-30 he was camping the station along with the rest of the Hellcamp fleet. Earlier on, IT Alliance and friends had decided to jump in several fleets consisting of 70-80 people, one in armor HACs, the other in a Shield Battleship / Battlecruiser combination. While the combined Clusterfuck Coalition forces thoroughly routed the enemy fleets and scattered them throughout the system a lone Sabre had warped 150km off station.
Aceites, who was flying his Hero Rifter, burned out the full distance to the Sabre and managed to secure a scramble and web on the target, facing almost certain death from the hail of bullets coming from the Sabre. Within a few seconds friendly ships were warping in and Aceites managed to hold the tackle long enough for the reinforcements to arrive.
Aceites sacrificed his ship for others to get the kill. Due to his “balls to the wall” attitude, he has been celebrated throughout the Clusterfuck Coalition fleets, and received over 325 million ISK in donations.
Upon the capture of 6VDT-H, the station was named “6VDTackled By Aceites Rifter” in his honour.
