IT Alliance
History
IT Alliance were founded following the end of The Great War where Band of Brothers were finally defeated. IT Alliance were formed by the merging of BoB corps and the blue pet alliances that BoB kept.
In January 2010, IT Alliance conquered Fountain from Pandemic Legion and settled there in short order. Shortly after IT Alliance attacked goon-held Delve but did very little progress. That is until goons fucked up and missed paying their sov bills. With the goon sov consequently dropped, IT Alliance conquered all of Delve in February 2010. This left IT Alliance in a position of strength as they held Fountain and Delve and had allied alliances, namely; The Initiative holding Immensea, Against All Authorities in Catch and Ev0ke in Cloud Ring.
In April 2010, IT Alliance began attacking Northern Coalition together with these three allies. This ended in massive failure and IT Alliance reset Ev0ke shortly after and took their technetium moons in Syndicate.
In September IT Alliance and Against All Authorities had a falling out and IT Alliance found themselves invading Catch in concert with Pandemic Legion and the Drone Russians.
In October Deklein Coalition (ie goons, TEST and its allies) evicted Ev0ke from Cloud Ring and starting building a chain of jump bridges from Deklein to Fountain, through Cloud Ring. This chain of jump bridges were called the Eye Of Terror.
IT Alliance realized quickly what a threat it was and launched an attack to prevent it from being completed. They were repulsed.
This attack were taken as causus belli for Goons, TEST and their allies to invade Fountain. The war went badly for IT Alliance who were forced to retreat to their staging system of 6VDT, which were then hellcamped for a week. Lots of drama happened during the war, one of the principal points being where The Mittani leaked the entire IT Alliance forums for the greater EVE community to see. Lots of IT Alliance corps started dropping off.
With the defeat of 6VDT, IT Alliance shortly thereafter failcascaded.
With IT Alliance dead, TEST were given Fountain as their own (which was nice considering goons did most of the work in the war).
