An Infrastructure Hub, or iHub, is one of the new mechanics introduced with the Dominion expansion. As the system is developed (by either ratting or mining), upgrades may be installed on the Infrastructure Hub enabling additional Cosmic Anomalies to spawn, a higher frequency of DED Complexes or Wormholes, or higher end asteroids to become seeded in belts. Specific logistics features can also be installed, enabling towers in a system to online Jump Bridges, Cyno Generators, Cyno Jammers, or Capital Ship Assembly Arrays. While an alliance may control a system with a TCU, an Infrastructre Hub provides additional security to system sovereignty; it must be destroyed before the TCU can be taken.
Certain upgrades have an associated fee, which is due every 2 weeks.
