Jump Bridges (Training)

Overview

Jump Bridges are similar to Gates, in that they transport the user from one system to another. The difference is that these bridges are built and maintained by players. They can be constructed in sovereign systems and can provide quick routes around otherwise difficult to navigate regions. Using jump bridges is advantageous because you can travel faster, jumping over multiple systems. By using jump bridges you also avoid gate camps.

Using Jump Bridges

  • Jump bridges are anchored near moons. If your corporation does not have the bookmark for the jump bridge (they really should do), you will need to fly to the moon the bridge is anchored at first.
    • You can find out what moon the bridge is at by using a map (refer to the maps section below), scanning them down with your directional scanner, or flying to every moon in the system till you find it.
      • Newbies: To warp to moons, right-click in space, choose the Planets submenu, then the appropriate planet from the list, then the Moons submenu and finally “Warp to within 100 KM” on the correct moon.
    • Once you are at the right moon, the bridge should appear in your overview, if not consult the overview page.
    • Select the jump bridge and right click, bookmark it.
      • Be descriptive when bookmarking bridges, notate what system you are in, and where it jumps to, what planet/moon the entrance and exit are located at, and the password for easy reference.
      • Example: JB OWXT P-M » 5W3 P-M P:password
    • Once you have bookmarked the bridge you can either approach it, or warp out, and then warp to your bookmark.
  • You must be within 2500m to use the bridge.
  • Once within 2500m (and decloaked) right-click the jump bridge and select “Jump through to XXX”
    • If the Jump Bridge has enough fuel for your ship to jump through, your ship will jump through to the next system; if there's not enough fuel for your ship you'll see a notification and you won't jump.
    • See Jump Bridge List - Liquid Ozone for details on Jump Bridge Fuel requirements, how much your ship needs, and how to refuel them.
  • Once you are through and your corporation doesn't have the JB bookmarked on this side, bookmark the jumpbridge on that side as well.

How do I use the table from Jump Bridge List

How do I use the data?

How do I keep my data up to date?

Check the Jump Bridge List page regularly and update the information in the GTS tool. It is recommended that you clear the data in the tool before re-adding the data in the table.

What if I find an error in the data?

Then edit the page already? What are you still doing here?!
