BRAWLY T3Ds

a.k.a. T3Decefleet

How To Fly

  • Brawly T3D is a comp of close range neuting T3Ds with frigate logi and ewar support. The concept is to ensure every fleet member in a T3D has at least one neut and a point. The fleet commander will call targets, the fleet and the FC will anchor on the targets they are engaging. They will prop mode with prop mod on to the target, once in their engagement range they disengage the prop mod and orbit, switch to defensive mode, and engage the target with all offensive modules. Once the target is dead they begin to engage the secondary target.
  • Frigate logi in the form of Scalpel's and Kirin's provide logistic support to the fleet.
  • For ewar support neut ewar is preferred over other types, though scan res damps and ecm are welcome. Scan resolution damps and ecm should NOT be used on the primary target, as these ewar types are meant to engage enemy logistic support instead.

How to FC

  • Ping for dudes. Get 25-30. Bring Stork's and Bifrost's for both mobility support and links. You can be successful without links with this comp, but links make your comp so much better and you'll want booshers (command destroyers) so just fucking do it, you mongs.
  • Make sure you have good logi numbers just like any comp. Ensure you have a backup target caller in case something goes wrong and you eat shit, this is a skirmish comp so things can be fluid and change quickly and you need to be ready. You want to call hostile logi primary first. When you are burning to the logi make sure the fleet spreads points when available and ewar to the logi. This comp doesn't do enough dps generally to break a hostile gang without crushing their logi first. Once their logi is dead, go for primary dps, changing infrequently to things that aren't their primary DPS that is annoying you.
  • Once the enemy fleet is dead ping Sapporo Jones to tell him that you, too, love this comp.

Shiptype line for your pings

  • (You can simply copy/paste the below paragraph in your ping)
  • Brawly T3D's (AC Svipul > Rocket Jackdaw > > Scalpel > Kirin > Boosting MJDs (shield and skirm) > Sentinel (nuets, not NOS) > Maulus (scan res damps, not range) (YOU SHOULD ONLY BRING A JACKDAW IF THERE'S NO SVIPUL'S ON MARKET OR YOU LITERALLY CANT FLY LITERALLY ANYTHING ELSE. IF YOU'RE GOING TO BRING A T3D, TRY TO BRING A SVIPUL OR BE PREPARED TO BE THE MEATSHIELD FOR SVIPULS)

Additional tips and notes

  • Bring the best faction ammo - Dread Guristas rockets preferred for Jackdaws or Rage Rockets (Bring Hail and Republic Fleet EMP S for your Svipul).
  • Read fleet MOTD and don't be a bad.
  • If you are flying in a Jackdaw you will need to periodically pulse overheat your prop mod to keep up with the Svipuls. Jackdaws are just inherently slower T3Ds, that's why you get a long point. Try to keep up, try not to forget to turn off the over heat. This is why Nanite is in the fit.
  • While orbiting the target and engaging, your prop mod should be off and you should be in defensive mode (or if you feel elite sharpshooter). Your prop mod being on while in a T3D raises your sig to battleship sig levels. Don't do what Donny don't does and make sure you turn off your prop mod when you aren't burning/MWD'ing to something.
