Rough Chinese-English translation guide for FCs working with Chinese players or FCs.

Legend:

级 (Ji) means Rank/Tier/class/level. Prounounced “Jee”.

船 (Chuan) means ship/boat/vessel. Pronounced “Chuan”

旗舰 (Qíjiàn) means flagship; Carriers, FAX, Titans, Supercarriers, Dreadnoughts, Capital Industrial ships. Pronounced “Chee Jian”

Small ship - 小船 - Xiǎochuán

1. Literal translation - Small ship.
2. Rough English pronounciation - Shao Tran

Interceptor - 截击舰 - Jiéjí jiàn

1. Translation - Interceptor
2. Pronounciation - Jeh-gee jian

Stealth ship/recon with stealth - 隐形特勤舰 - Yǐnxíng tèqín jiàn

1. Translation - Special insibility/stealth ship.
2. Pronounciation - Yingsing Tersing Jian
3. Short pronounciation - Yingsing Jian

Carrier - 航空母舰 - Hángkōngmǔjiàn

1. Literal translation - Aircraft carrier
2. Rough English pronounciation - Han Kong Moo Jan
3. As the translation is needlessly long, consider using the slang/shortened version below:
4. Shortened Carrier - 母舰 - Mǔjiàn
5. Shortened Literal translation - Mothership/depot ship.
6. Shortened Rough English pronounciation - Moo Jian.

Dreadnought - 无畏 (级) - Wúwèi (Ji)

1. Translation - Dreadnought (rank/class/tier/designation).
2. Literal translation - Fearless (rank/class/tier/designation).
3. Rough English pronounciation - Woo way jee.

Supercarrier - 超级航母 - Chāojí hángmǔ

1. Translation - Super aircraft carrier.
2. Rough English pronounciation - chow jee han moo
3. Shortened Supercarrier - 超级母 - Chāojí mǔ
