Privateer Alliance
Privateer Alliance was founded in 2006-12-06.
Privateers were once the largest group of high-sec griefers in EVE. Due to their mass-wardec tactics they actually caused CCP to change the War mechanics to discourage en-mass wardecs and switch to a system where each successive wardec cost more (known as the anti-Privateers patch).
A few key corporations of Privateers left to form The 0rphanage in May 2010, which shared the same high-sec griefing methods.
Privateer Alliance officially closed its doors in 2014-11-13.
