Hoarder

Overview

The Hoarder is the second in line of the Minmatar industrial ships, it's not as strong as the Mammoth. Really, the only reason to fly one is if you just want something cheap to move your space junk around and don't want to bother training past Minmatar Industrial II. If that's all you need, it's a decent ship for hauling loot from your ratting system to a nearby system for reprocessing. Obviously, this is best done in peaceful areas or with a scout or both.

Fittings

Loot Hauler

<EFT> [Hoarder, Loot Hauler] Nanofiber Internal Structure II Nanofiber Internal Structure II Power Diagnostic System II

Medium Shield Extender II 1MN Afterburner I Multispectrum Shield Hardener II

Prototype Cloaking Device I

Medium Cargohold Optimization I Medium Cargohold Optimization I Medium Cargohold Optimization I </EFT>

This fit sacrifices some cargo space in favor of adding a bit of shield tank if you'd rather play it safe. If you run into a small gate camp, the nanos will help you align → cloak → microwarp, or if it is bubbled the tank may help you burn back to the gate before dying, with a bit of luck. See Surviving Gatecamps to learn how to use these techniques. If you have trouble fitting the tank mods, consider dropping a nano for a second PDS. Rigs are also optional if you don't want to pay for the extra cargo space.

Max Cargo

<EFT> [Hoarder, Max Cargo] Expanded Cargohold II Expanded Cargohold II Expanded Cargohold II

Multispectrum Shield Hardener II 1MN Afterburner I Multispectrum Shield Hardener II

Prototype Cloaking Device I

Medium Cargohold Optimization I Medium Cargohold Optimization I Medium Cargohold Optimization I </EFT>

This fit is designed for max cargo in situations where you have a scout or are otherwise certain to not encounter an enemy ship. If at any point you see an enemy while flying this, assume the worst and start thinking about how you're going to get your pod out safely.
