Money Badger Coalition was a mega-coalition that was temporarily formed for the duration of World War Bee in 2016. The name itself itself is a reference to the old Honey Badger Coalition as well as the group of bankers who were funding the war on the MBCs behalf.

The coalition fought The Imperium, the largest coalition at the time, and evicted them from all their holdings in New Eden.

The coalition was formed as a extremely rich group of players started to bankroll alliances to fight The Imperium, the primary actor of this group being Lenny Kravitz2. Hence why goons still call the war by the wrong name, The Casino War, as the group made most of their wealth from running online gambling in New Eden.

After World War Bee was won and the Imperium retreated to take Delve and try to rebuild, New Eden entered a brief period of peace as most entities in the MBC were still temporarily blue. This ended with The Big Black Wedding.

The Big Black Wedding was a event in April 2016 were Snuffed Out betrayed their MBC blues Shadow Cartel. Shadow Cartel and Snuffed Out were historically enemies but had established blue standings for the duration of WWB as both were members of the MBC. Shadow Cartel were using a Snuffed Out POS to move supercaps home when Snuffed Out attacked them, while still being blue, and killed several supers.

The period following that was of alliances mutually unblueing each other and the end of the Money Badger Coalition.
