=====Overview=====

The [[eve:ships:mining_barges|mining barge]] was designed by ORE to facilitate advancing the mining profession to a whole new level. Each barge was created to excel at a specific function, the Procurer's being durability and self-defense. With that in mind, the designers could only make space to fit one mining or ice harvesting module. To mitigate the effect this would have on the ship's mining output, they came up with a unique loading system that allows this one module to work with vastly increased efficiency.

Mining barges are equipped with electronic subsystems specifically designed to accommodate Strip Mining and Ice Harvesting modules.

Rebalanced along the other Mining Barges and [[eve:ships:mining_barges|Exhumers]] the Procurer and the [[eve:ships:mining_barges:skiff|Skiff]] (it's Tech2 variation) have their focus on durability. The yield is still the lowest of all ORE mining ships but the Procurer can now field a tank comperable to a battlecruiser.

  * **2%** reduction to **Strip Miner** and **Ice Harvester** duration

**Ice Mining**

Swap our the strip miners for Ice Harvesters, and the Mining Laser Upgrades for Ice Harvester Upgrades.
Progression friendly, meaning as you learn the skills you can just swap out the T2 variants.
