Handling Requests

Ships

Requests should be limited to 3 ships or fewer, but generally just use your best judgement based on the situation. There's nothing wrong with giving a dozen ships to a newbro who just moved down with nothing so they have a variety of roles to try. If a ping for something we stock just went out maybe limit it to one at a time. Under most circumstances it's fine to make sure they get at least two ships.

Skill Books

The only real restriction on skill book requests is that each character should request books individually. The skill plans on skills.pleaseignore.com generate shopping lists that can be copied and pasted to make requests easier. If we have the book in the Skill Books can you can hand it out.

Exceptionally expensive skill book donations are stored in the <font inherit/Courier New,Courier,monospace;;inherit;;inherit>Donations</font> container. Message <font inherit/Courier New,Courier, monospace;;inherit;;inherit>Echo Degnar</font> if somebody requests one of these books.

To hand out a book:

  1. Right-click the stack of books and select <font inherit/Courier New,Courier,monospace;;inherit;;inherit>Unlock</font>
  2. Separate a book from the stack
  3. Right-click on the stack of books and select <font inherit/Courier New,Courier,monospace;;inherit;;inherit>Lock</font>

This creates entries in the container's Audit Log. The last person to unlock a stack of books is responsible should the books go missing. Always re-lock the stack.

Implants

This inventory is entirely donated. Test Free does not import more.

We have broken the +1 Implants market in the past. Make sure those who request them know how to swap their implant clones.

To hand out an implant:

  1. Right-click the stack of implants and select <font inherit/Courier New,Courier,monospace;;inherit;;inherit>Unlock</font>
  2. Separate an implant from the stack
  3. Right-click on the stack of implants and select <font inherit/Courier New,Courier,monospace;;inherit;;inherit>Lock</font>

This creates entries in the container's Audit Log. The last person to unlock a stack of implants is responsible should the implants go missing. Always re-lock the stack.

Planetary Command Centers

This inventory is entirely donated. Test Free does not import more.

These are to help members get into PI. We're not funding some 50-toon PI Empire startup. Try to limit handing out PI Command Centers to one or two characters per player.

To hand out an Command Centers:

  1. Right-click the stack of command centers and select Unlock
  2. Separate a command center from the stack
  3. Right-click on the stack of command centers and select Lock

This creates entries in the container's Audit Log. The last person to unlock a stack of command centers is responsible should the command centers go missing. Always re-lock the stack.

Donations

Move any loose items in the TRAINING hangar into the Donations container. Message Echo Degnar for requests from Donations and they will be handled on an individual basis.

Warning

It should go without saying that stealing from the alliance is a blacklistable offense, but I'm saying it anyway. Just don't do it. It's not worth it.
