/r/place
About
/r/place was a subreddit on reddit.com that they ran for April Fools in 2017. In it, a bunch of subreddits came together and tried to build images on a shared template by placing pixeltiles. Each user could only place a tile in a allotted period of time and that tile could be overwritten by another user. This lead to sabotage and alliances between the different subreddits. Several EVE related projects were also added to the template, fighting to survive. Among those were a Pandemic Horde project, a Dreddit project and a /r/eve project. The /r/place template was only up for a limited amount of time so it was a race for the users to build their images and then defend the coveted real estate from both other subreddits that wanted the space as well as sabotage from randoms.
Dreddit successfully created theirs and defended it from all comers, the rest of TEST also pitched in and together a KICK SUAD meme was added to it.
