Arts and Crafts

Arts and crafts is a way for redditors whose reddit accounts do not meet the activity requirements to be accepted into Dreddit. In a way, the community is recommending you into the corporation instead of one specific member.

Please note that there is no guarantee that applicants participating in the Arts and crafts program will be accepted into Dreddit.

Rules

• Applicants are required to have a Reddit account that is at least three months old.
• The project proposal must have been reviewed and accepted by Dreddit's HR director(s).
• Applicants must create either a physical or virtual object related to Dreddit.
  • Music must be accompanied by a recording or video of you performing it.
• A project report must be posted on the Dreddit subreddit.
  • The project report will include the finished product and documentation of the project in development.
• Dreddit HR reserves the right to reject or terminate projects at any time for any reason

Special Rules

• While rage comics and image macros are part of some of Reddit's subcultures, they will not be accepted.
• Minecraft and Garry's Mod are banned from the A&C programme. Anything Dreddit HR deems close enough to these toolsets will also be banned on a case-by-case basis.
• Drawn digital art is henceforth excluded from the A&C programme. Potential applications may not propose projects that involve a majority of the project being made in a digital image editor (including, but not limited to: Photoshop, Illustrator, and MSPaint). This applies to projects which consist of just a picture. Handmade projects are excluded from this rule.

These rules are subject to change at any time.

1. Join the Dreddit corp discord and talk to someone in the hr-public channel about your project proposal. Please don't ping the entire channel, someone will get with you eventually (also please read the pinned message in the channel). Discord invite link
2. Wait for project to be approved or rejected. This could take up to one week. Unapproved projects will not be accepted.
3. Once approved you my begin your project. Document the whole process.
4. After your project is completed, submit it to /r/evedreddit.
5. Submit a new application on auth and provide a link to your /r/evedreddit submission.
6. Wait patiently and check your auth app regularly. A&C applications may take longer then normal.
